Last time we were at Walt Disney World, we stumbled across something magical! (Yes, I know, the whole place is magical!!! But this….. this was next level awesome!)
As our family like to do, we’d headed to Animal Kingdom for the evening, after a day at the waterpark. We’d eaten dinner, we’d done a ride, seen a show, and it had gotten dark, when our daughter suggested we headed to Pandora as the wait times for the Na’vi river journey ride weren’t too bad. As we wandered over, the most amazing sight hit us!
Now, we’d been in Pandora before, during the day, and had joined in with the drumming sessions they do there. They’re so much fun! But this – this was an after-dark, GLOW IN THE DARK, party version! Our kids immediately wanted to join in!!! And they did! The drumming was loud, the atmosphere electric!
But….. we had no way to make ourselves glow! Nooooooo!!! Disney fail!!!
So next time, high up on our packing list will be some glow-in-the-dark face paint, so we can join in properly! I’m not thinking of anything super fancy – just some dots and swirls with a Q-tip! And then we’ll be able to completely immerse ourselves in the wonder of Pandora after dark!
