Last time we were at Walt Disney World, we missed out on something big – but only because we didn’t know about it until after we got home!!! It’s now at the top of our to do list for next time we’re there!
I’ve yet to meet someone who doesn’t love Galaxy’s Edge – it’s so immersive! And being able to pilot the Millennium Falcon was Mr Different’s childhood dream!!! Anyone who’s already been on Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run knows that Hondo Ohnaka guides you through your mission – but not always!!!
Did you know there’s a secret Chewie Mode?! Yes, that’s right! You can be guided by Chewbacca himself instead!
Now, if you’ve not ridden before, you might want to experience the ride in the normal way first, so you’ve got a vague idea what you’re doing on your mission, but after that….. Wookiee away!!!
From what we know, there’s 4 steps you need to do BEFORE the cast member checks your seatbelts –
- Don’t activate your position like you normally would!
- Pilots need to push their controls as far as they can left/right or up/down (depending on which they are!)
- Pilots the press their activation button.
- Gunners and engineers then need to press one of the white buttons on their console, before pressing their activation button – hold the white button while you activate!
Then let your cast member check your seatbelts!!!
And if you’ve done it right, Chewie should guide you through your mission!!! Brilliant, right?!
